Marshall, IL — December 10, 2025 — The Marshall Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a celebratory Ribbon Cutting and Open House for The Silo, now operating under new ownership. The event will take place on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at the restaurant’s location at 212 N. Michigan Avenue, Marshall, IL 62441.
Community members, business owners, and local partners are invited to attend this public celebration. The open house will run from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, with the official ribbon cutting scheduled for 1:30 PM. Guests will have the opportunity to meet the new owners, tour the refreshed establishment, and enjoy complimentary samples provided throughout the event. Anyone who comes into the establishment from 11 AM – 3 PM will receive a 15% discount!
The Silo has long been a valued part of the Marshall dining scene, and its transition to new ownership marks an exciting step forward for both the business and the community. As part of this new chapter, The Silo will host its Second Sunday Brunch on the second Sunday of each month from 11am to 2:30pm, and will also offer holiday party accommodation, gift cards, and full-service catering.
