Tuesday, November 4, 2025 a tree planting will be held at 8:30 am at the Martinsville Recreation Complex.
Classes from Martinsville Schools will attend and local arborist Stephen Johnson will be there to teach about native species and care techniques.
Volunteers are needed to help plant 45 trees throughout the park and along community trails. This event is made possible through the TreesForever organization.
