2025 Edgar County Fair Queen Pageant to be held July 20
The Miss Edgar County Fair Queen Pageant will be held on Sunday, July 20 at 7 p.m.
The 2025 Edgar County Fair Queen Pageant will be held Sunday, July 20, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. in the amphitheater. Admission to the the pageant is $7, age 12 and under $3.
The reigning Queen is Aubrey Lawson.
The Little Miss Edgar County Fair Queen Pageant, featuring 20 five and six year old girls, will be held in conjunction with the selection of the 2025 Miss Edgar County Fair Queen Pageant. Ella Hays of Paris is the reigning Little Miss Queen
The 2025 Miss Edgar County Fair Queen will serve as the official hostess of all the fair activities, assisted by the 2024 Little Miss Edgar County Fair Queen. In addition, the 2025 Miss Edgar County Fair Queen will represent Edgar County in the 2026 Miss Illinois County Fair Pageant held during the annual IAAF convention in Springfield next January.
Each Queen is awarded a variety of prizes and gifts donated by local businesses and industries. In addition, the 2025 Miss Edgar County Fair Queen will receive a diamond crown ring presented by Current and Former Pageant Directors upon the completion of her reign.

Paris American Legion to hold Queen of Hearts drawing
Paris American Legion Post 211 will hold its weekly Queen of Hearts drawing on Wednesday, July 16.
The JACKPOT currently stands at just over $74,000!

Fiber Art Exhibition opens at Gaslight Art Colony
The Gaslight Art Colony‘s SIXTH Annual Fiber Art Exhibition will open with a reception on Saturday, July 19 from 5 to 7:30 p.m.
Awards will be presented on Saturday, August 16 at 6 p.m.
The exhibition will be open from July 19 to September 13.

Marshall Walking Tour: A Tradition of Service: The Marshall Fire Department – July 18, 2025
This week’s Marshall Walking Tour, hosted by the Clark County Historical Society will take a look at the history of the Marshall Fire Department.
The tour, “A Tradition of Service” begins on the north side of the courthouse at the Lincoln statue at 6:30 p.m.

The Marshall Farmers Market runs this Friday, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Archer Avenue in front of the courthouse.At 8 p.m., the Marshall City Band will perform a free concert at the bandstand.
Bring a lawn chair and enjoy the music!

Lemonade Stand Contest to be held July 18
The Marshall Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Lemonade Stand Contest on Friday, July 18.
Set up will be from 5 to 6 p.m. with the contest starting at 6 p.m.
Awards will follow at 7:15 p.m.
The Lemonade Stand contest is open to children up to sixth grade. There is no fee to participate.
